Action Man Really the greatest hero of them all?
Ok maybe this is because i'm not kosher at the moment and i've been thinking weird things. But here goes. My sisters b/f was over in my house tonight with his son. The son was clutching his action man figure and telling me how Action man can kill anyone, even Saddam. Apparently the Gulf War II would never have happened if Action Man was sent in.
I occured to me. Action man is a shitty soldier. He's been chasing Dr X for 30 years now and still not caught the bastard.
What are your thoughts?

Frankly he should be locked up, that bastard has been going round, forcibly inserting plastic missile launchers into not only sports cars, skateboards, typewriters and fridges (those last two not available in shops), but his sick fetish has led him to insert these things into marine wildlife. The Manta Ray is protected under international law, it is forbidden to ride these things, never mind force plastic catapults into their eye sockets.
And why is a skateboard considered a viable extreme weapon? An apache gunship, I can understand, but he's not going to get very far chasing a one eyed madman around on a customised skateboard, unless he happens to go near some stairs or large pieces of concrete tubing. And where does he find space for the launching system of the missiles in a skateboard?
I could list a huge page of problems with this, but it would only damage my practically non-existant credibility.

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Action Man: The Return should be hitting US channels later this year. The newer version has blood, guts, real violence, and I believe plenty of swearing. It also has this badass airship called Antioch that X runs and is almost collectivised with.
I know this cause one of my friends works for mainframe and actually designed Antioch. :p
BTW, X is the GOOD guy. Hes trying to make humanity cyborg and superior so we dont die because of our own screwups, but Alex is trying to stop him! Alex wants humanity dead! EVIL!!!
Oh, btw, I hope you don't mind seeing various major cities get blown to shit. New York, San Francisco.. Antioch. Down the Golden Gate's urethra. BAMF.

The CG series was alright until they shot it all to hell with the "stop all the action and recap about each character" shit and the like.

They made two or three hour-long movies that took place after the series ended, which wrapped up the whole 'Diablo' (I think that was the name of the virus) plotline.Typhonis 1 wrote:when is Reboot 5 coming out any ideas?
Unfortunately, I never got to see them, and unless they release boxsets of Reboot, I doubt I ever will.

Action Man is a wanker. GI Joe owns him. That is all.
