This is the first time I've heard someone use the word "hyperlink".

That aside, I'm pretty sure the only photos of SD construction you'll find are those in the EU.

Whats the EU?

I am only here to ask for these photos, because on a seperate forum site we are RPing the construction of a Star Destroyer, and I was assigned the search for photos.

Go grab a copy of Star Wars: Incredible Cross Sections. It has a nice two page spread, with interior details, of the Imperial class Star Destroyer. (Check a half-price bookstore; my copy was on sale for $6  )

Also, check out this link for up-close photos of the Star Destroyer model on display at the Smithsonian.

EU is Expanded Universe, which in simple terms is the Star Wars stuff beyond the movies.

EU is also stuff which George Lucas ignores when making his movies.
Dreadnaughts and Victory Class Star Destroyers? Two classes of vessels with wonderful backstories and histories and explainations? Would they fit in wonderfully in the prequels? Wouldn't we all love to see those vessels kicking the crap out of a Trade Federation "Battleship"? Nope, don't exist in GL's universe. ::shrug::

Well, he doesn't ignore *everything*. If something or someone looks hot, like say... Aayla Secura - mmmm, blue twi'lek (?spelling?) Jedi lovin! Then he'll bring it in, as he did in AOTC, if only as a cameo...
