OK, if you want to laugh and recoil in utter horror of someone being a dummy, click on this thread, and go to where the one person (Es Arkajae) starts talking about "cold fusion" and continue reading from there as he goes on to argue that because we don't know how the universe began, we don't know anything at all and therefore cold fusion and everything else, is possible.

I can provide a very simple proof to show that there are entirely impossible things in this universe. If one thing is impossible, then it stands to reason that there are other impossible things, does it not?

Here's one to ponder: It is impossible to break the encryption of a one time pad cryptosystem. If your sparring partner there decides to try and argue that point, he's in way over his head.

Oh no, you don't understand Es Arkajae will never ever ever admit that he's wrong and will fight and argue forever. He'd probably argue that it was possible to break such a system with great ferver, anger, and absolutely no evidence.

And it's simple to provide evidence, explained in rather simple terms which many people should be able to understand, which clearly shows just how impossible it is. It would act as a shining beacon for all to see just how illogical and irrational he is being. From there, you can just bring it up as a standard cut and paste response every time he tries to bring up that old argument. Maximized results for minimal effort.

I still don't think you get it. Many have tried that tactic before - most of them are either still at it or institutionalised. Nowadays, most just ignore him when he starts like that.

Bans are very seldom given out over there. And with the exceptions of trolling racists and fascists who joined with the express intent to stir up shit, people don't get banned here for those reasons, either.
