Duke Nukem, Freeze Gun, kick. Shrink Ray, stomp, one of the coolest FPS guys ever.
[OT: A character named Duke Nukem was a bad guy in Captain Planet and the Planeteers, creepy, real duke would of liquified the brats]

Soldier from Halo. Never played, only reason X-Box is still around.

Turok is axed almost at once. The Doom Marine has armor, the Halo Soldier has shields, Duke Nukem has Character Shielding, and the Quake Soldier has armor. Turok has jack.

Quake Soldier and Doom Marine kill each other with BFGs.

The Halo Soldier gets into a tactically favourable posistion, tries to outflank Duke, and is cut to ribbons by Duke's gung-ho charge.

The DOOM Marine can:

Carry 500 pounds of weapons and ammo
Take direct hits from RPGs
Run at 60 mph while fully loaded
Beat men to death in two punches
When hopped up on adrenaline, his punches cause ordinary men to explode

The DOOM Marine also has the best all-time kill record of any FPS hero, rivalled only recently by Serious Sam. He's even singlehandedly fought his way to the very heart of Hell and killed what appeared to be Satan himself. Can anyone else say this? Let's look at this opposition:

Turok-
What does he do but wander around in the jungle and solve puzzles, while dinosaurs kick the crap out of him?

Quake Guy-
More respectable. He beat the hell out of shitloads of people, but he still had some incredibly lame end bosses. He can't withstand the might of the DOOM Marine.

Duke Nukem-
What a puss. Sure, he repulsed repeated invasions of Earth. But when those damn Duke 3D aliens attacked, did he go back to their world, kill thousands of them in unequal combat, and proceed to waste their lord and master? No.

Halo Soldier-
If you believe the book, he's pretty badass. If he can survive the DOOM Marine's initial bum rush, the battle may be a tossup.

Short of the BFG I think Turak out powers Doom Soldier. He's got plasma rifle that has a shoot, homing, and paralyze/shoot combo, a rocket launcher that fires rockets, small nukes, and little robots that seek and explode blwing their victums apart, remote control spider mines, quad missle launcher, and 18 barreled(3 6-barreled bundles) chain gun, dark cubes that warp space and can make an entire Triceratops dissappear, and sniper scopes, also expslosive shotgun shells, automatic shotgun that can shoot 4 shells at once.

The only reason I pick duke is he has so many one hit killers, freeze ray kick, shrink ray smash as my favorites, not to mention holodukes.

Of course, all these challengers have ammo limitations. Duke's trusty atomic pistol from the sidescrollers never runs out of ammo.

Lets face it, the rest are just pussies, the Master Chief is a proffessional soldier, ehancd with cyborg implants, he is 10x fasters than any human. Too boot he has self recharging shields, and an AI to help him, and give on site intel on the spot. In a real fight, Duke would get a sniper shot right into his unproctected face.
