Microsoft is taking spammers to court, and I now find myself routing for them. Like a hypothetical fight between Mike Tyson and Martha Stewart, I guess that sometimes it's fun to watch a greater evil start beating the shit out of a lesser evil.

I for one would be on M$'s side. They may produce questionable quality goods and be hegemonistic, but at least they actually do something useful.

At least with some of the spam you can see pictures of naked women. This is about the only feature that doesn't make me want to smash my screen in and still after seeing the same 19 year shove a banana in her ass for the 7th time in a day it starts to get boring.

Agreed. Microsoft do actually make some useful contributions, while the RIAA is just a lingering remnant of a dead business model.
