Farscape LIVES!....Maybe

Here's another digest of media coverage, including confirmation that the sets have NOT yet been torn down. From the Australian Daily Telegraph:

"As Confidential reported on Monday, filming ceased on Tuesday and the next day the elaborate sets in the Homebush Bay site were either to be destroyed or tagged for return to the US.

But at 9.30am on Wednesday, the set builders were told to stop work immediately. It appeared Farscape had been given a new lease on life as SciFi reentered negotiations to keep the drama alive, this time in the form of a miniseries."



All you Scapers dont let up! Call the Scifi Channel and pound them. The pressure that has been exherted on them is making the suits come around.

You pure Star Wars types give them a shout too. If Farscape runs it's full length we may just get enough visuals and hard observations to enter Farscape into the verus debates.

I enjoy the first season, but the show went into a rapid spiral after that.. Maybe it should be killed to make room for something new...

Finally those stupid suits wised up, sort of. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Maybe it should be killed to make room for something new...
Like more John Edwards? I think not. I you prefer phony physic talkshows to Farscape get of this board.... quickly.

I am about to say the unthinkable: I have never seen Farscape.

Therefore, I have the following questions: What is Farscape? What is it about? Please note that I'm not asking if it's awesome or not (the concensus is that it is), I simply want to know about the premise of the show.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

In a nutshell, a astronaut from earth(present day to very near future) is trying a new type of space engine. Solar flare hits, wormwhole opens up and he is suckes to the far end of the galaxy right in the mittle of a space fight. A ship called a livethian(living ship named Moya) was a prison sip but is escape beeing persued by the peacekeepers.(kinda like intergalactic police) Moya tractors in the earth ship to get it out of its way and on board he meets funky aliens, craziness, off the wall humor and cosmic action ensue for the next couple of years. in a nutshell.
