Revised Titles

Post by Son of the Suns »

Since several have pointed out that there are usually only a few Emporer's Hands, how about this title system:

0 posts- Redshirt

50 posts- Youngling

150 posts- Padawan Learner

500 posts- Jedi Knight

1000 posts- Jedi Master

1500 posts- Jedi council Member

Now we get into the Imperial titles:

2500 posts- Crimson Guard ( no force powers, but they guard the Emporer)

4000 posts- Emporer's Hand ( weak force powers)

6000 posts- Executor ( as in Sedriss from Dark Empire, one bad mofo)

8000 posts- Imperial Warlord

10000+ posts- Supreme Commander

Edit: Imperial Warlord goes better with the Empire theme than Supreme Cancellor, a Republic title.

Actually Supreme Commander ( luke in DE and Pellaeon in the rest of EU) might be better than Emporer, after all, there can be only one Sith Lord.

Weren't the Warlords a title for the leaders of Factions of the Empire after it broke up and became disorganized?

Wouldn't Grand Admiral be better?

Oh and damnit, demoted from a rear admiral to a guard.

Wait a minute, I should be a Crimson Guard, and just by 160 something posts, but it says I'm an emperor's hand.

Sounds cool, alas I can not enjoy this new system due to my custom title. Hee hee. 8)

How about we just go back to the old system? Unless we bump the requirements for a custom title up to more like 7500 all these new ranks are going to see minimal to no usage.

We would still be using the old system, but I've seen alot of people that reach the 2500 mark and several members that choose not to request a custom title despite reaching the 3000, 4000, 5000 marks. Just some thing special for them.

In my case, no one thought I deserved a custom title.

Personally liked the Imperial rank system better, but guess I was in the minority. The system you now propose is acceptable...

So long as you don't change the 2000 limit for a custom title, I'm perfectly happy. :)

Yeah, well, I'll never beable to be satisfied with a title I choose myself, and I'd rather have one chosen for me.

I'd like to see the "Emperor's Hand" title removed from general circulation and granted to me as a custom title. Really.
Howedar is no longer here. Need to talk to him? Talk to Pick.

Then what're you going to replace it with?

I think it's only fair that if you want them to do that, you should come up with something good to replace it.

How about I rip off your arm, go back in time, and beat your grandfather to death with it, thusly creating a paradox and destroying the universe?

That doesn't sound as fun as Fluffy. And, like Gandalf pointed out, it's probably too long for a title. :D

God damnit, some times I wish I had eye beams so I could just blow up people when they piss me off.

Uhh, and that can travel through the internet and all...
