Finding by Phone Numbers

Post by RogueIce »

Hey, got a question. How can I find out who the fuck has called me from their phone number?

For instance, those jackass prank calls, or those where you get dead air and they hang up but you don't know why.

I can *69 and get the number, but that's it. How can I find out more? Like to see if I know the person, or if it's a prank call so I can add them to The List.

I got one recently, went to Whitepages.com to try and look it up... All I know is it was a Sarasota, FL number (something the area code coulda told me anyway). Any help would be much appreciated.

I would like to know this too... my caller ID will tell me names and stuff, unless the bastard is out of area, or has a private #. I usually don't answer those, but some info on doing this would be good, so I can at least see who it is.

I just put in my number and they got my new address, and a little button to use mapquest to find directions. Nothing new, but kinda weird

None that I know live in Sarasota. And how would they get my number anyway? :?

XaLEv: Thanks. Seems like WhitePages though. Still no luck on that number. May be unlisted, but Hell, ALL the damn numbers that do that shit to me must be unlisted then. :(

Any other ideas?

See also Infospace Reverse Lookup. Works the same way as the other one and between the 2 you should be able to find most numbers.

It also doesn't list cell numbers.

Still nothing, jmac. :(

Might be a cell. I looked on WhitePages to see if it was, but it said it wasn't. Damn it all. :|

I could always try calling myself, but, well, that could have mixed results...
