Cameras In School

My school had an officer. I never gave it much thought. He was there to keep an eye on the troubled kids, ones on probation, help deal with fights and so forth. Not any big deal in my opinion.

We had a closed campus, and nobody could have free period to roam. Everything was pretty tightly controlled, which was a big annoyance to me then, but now I sort a understand. Left to our own devices most of the students would not behave.

My highschool had cameras all around the building, and about three or four cops walking around.

I never really cared myself, most of the cops were pretty nice. This one guy shot himself in the leg though, when he was coming out of his police car. They announced it during the daily announcements and everyone laughed at him. Which in retrospect wasn't that nice.
