Argh. Townhouse parking

Post by Pu-239 »

My mother's car almost got towed from the parking lot right in front of the house . Stupid townhouses. Also, for some reason, half the street always is chained of for apparently no reason whatsoever.

Parking in the complex for my townhouse is pretty bad a lot of the time as well. Each home has two rather smallish covered parking spaces but several of the units have multiple people living in them. If it's two couples they are s.o.l. on parking. Plus the spots just don't fit full-sized pickups very well.

One of my neighbors has a huge rectangular 1970s convertable "land barge". The thing is cool but damn, nearly all of the trunk sticks out of his parking spot even when he pulls in as far as possible.

Try parking on the street, sometime

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Good point. At least in my cases I own two spots that are supposed to be mine. Only once or twice have I had to park somewhere else because my spots were full when I got home.

It's all first come first serve when it comes to parking on the street. Then there are those fun restrictions on parking because of trash pickup or plowing of the street. I am so glad I don't have to worry about either of those.
