Emotions or intellegence has nothing to do with his will, which has everthing to do with Force thought manipulation. Hulk is incredibly determined when he is pissed off. And I'll be very surpised indeed if he hasn't dealt with telapaths or mind-controllers before.... MC's from you know, the MU where psionic mind-control isn't as incredibly wimpy as a Jedi's?

And amazingly Hulk reacts poorly to illusions.

The Leader uses them quite a few times.

He also reacts poorly to mind control as well.

Yes...Hulk has indomitable will.

No one has yet to actually answer what happens when he's stuck in the air with no leverage(and the writers have...he's screwed)

Comic Hulk: One Thunderclap and its all over.

Movie Hulk: Unknown if his Fast Healing can keep up with being sliced with a Lightsaber. Without the Thunderclap, he has no defense against being levitated. If Yoda can hold him up long enough to slash with him with the Lightsaber (lifing heavy objects seem to require a good deal of concntration) then Hulk should go down.

The Hulk isn't that heavy, iirc most sources say he's around 1000 lbs. Yoda lifted up a 10 ton X-Wing in TESB without much difficulty.

He had to concentrate on the stones because they were falling, it takes more effort to catch something that's falling on you than something with the same wieght if you simply pick it up off the ground.

I can probably hold about 150 pounds in a cradling position, but if that 150 pounds came falling from thirty feet above me, you'd better believe I'd drop it like a brick.

This is a really nebulous argument. How strong Hulk is depends very greatly on how mad he is. TK would work if he had just transformed, but not at his heights of anger (lifting mountains, etc.). Of course, the copout (but very real) solution for Yoda would be to simply use the Force to invade his mind and calm him down so he turns back into Banner.

True, I guess the problem here is if that force and weight equal/greater than hulk, I have no idea however.

Also movie version actaully grows bigger as he gets angier, and if he is at half a ton when he is 8 feet tall, what is he going to weight at 17 feet? Bigger?

The most Marvel gauged him was around 3 tons.

Movie would place him perhaps at 1~1.5 tons depending how they wish his weight increases.

Yoda can lift him off the ground, but there's little he can do to prevent Hulk from clapping his hands. Unless he can physically restrain Hulk with his TK, which will require many many tons of force.

Lifing Hulk and holding him still are two completely diffrent things, just like the force required to lift a mousetrap the force required to hold a mousetrap open are diffrent.

Yoda can lift him off the ground, but there's little he can do to prevent Hulk from clapping his hands. Unless he can physically restrain Hulk with his TK, which will require many many tons of force.

Glad to see you have done nothing to say Yoda can't kill Hulk by crushing his windpipe while he's holding him in place...amazing that Doc Ock was show to be able to hold Hulk in place with his tentacles(which are rated around 20 tons).

So you still want to keep hurl yabberings or are you going to now blither Yoda doesn't engage in killing combat, thus all he would have to do is basically throw illusion torwards Hulk or calm him while Hulk looks around.

Then go check out Revenge of the Sinister Six in Spider-Man(not spectacular, not amazing) and looky Hulk suspended by Doc Ock.

Eric Larson is the writer/penciller/inker...this was his last story arc.

There is also the matter that Banner's intellect does occasionaly show up to help the hulk, like the final fight when the hulk figured out that David couldn't handle all of thier energies.....And banner is incredibly smart and strong-willed when he needed to be.
