Executor Pictures

I have started a yahoo group to display the pictures i have of the Executor Model, this group is also availble for discussions of said ship.
All people here are welcome to become a member and use the pictures for any research etc. There are only a few pictures uploaded at the moment, i will be uploading more soon.

I'm trying to understand this... You've got 20 meters of solid heavy armor, yet you still ahve to put extra bits atop that?

Maybe the turrets are retractable and those are the coverings or something.

Doubtful, IIRC those were a rebel developed tactic against TIEs. The are more inline with the missile tube coves like on a SSBN, bu they are way to fucking big. Perhaps they are extra cover over the shield projectors, but then the placement is goofy.
