I haven't seen the film, and I have no idea what's it about (for me it just kind of popped out of nowhere), but if it's anything like most of the SNL films, it probably cost next to nothing to make.

Yeah, well IIRC Jason X made six times the ammount in it's first weekend, but the people who made that had more sense then to release it the same day as a highly anticipated comic book movie, Jason X would have probly bombed too(although not as bad) if it came out last friday or so.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think it could of costed to much. I think it was just a musical. No special FX or anything like that. I still hope they didn't make their money back

I found out it cost about 12 million to make, so it unfortunately looks like they'll be able to at least break even.

Or they could use some far shots of them in the distance and some bad camera angles along with a pair of real singers to dub over their voices. If they were smart they would of used your idea but we can tell that they arn't smart because they made that movie
