The 10-month-old girl survived the 80-foot fall, crashing through several tree branches before landing on the ground. She suffered only cuts and bruises.

I think his sentence should include being thrown off the observation deck of the Empire State building.

I think the guy has serious mental problems.

If not, tossing him off the Empire state building isn't the proper course (why desicrate the building?)

I say put an explosive device in his body with a random timer (minimum of 4 hours) and put him in a bomb shelter and seal it up or something. That way, he can think about it before the bomb goes off and kills him.

Either that, or take him bungy jumping, and tell him either the cord will give out first and kill him, or the explosives will go off. After that, it's in gods hands, and then push him off

I'm astounded the baby survived, ususally 80 feet is the baseline for a guaranteed fatality. As for the guy, well, there's definately something up in his head.

Well, a baby is hardly a grown-up human. Though yeah, if there had been no tree branches to break the fall, that baby would be a grease stain on the sidewalk.

I remember reading somewhere that you can survive the fall if your not tensed. An adult human who falls out of a window knows what's coming, but a baby won't. There was a similar story a couple of years ago where a nine-year-old sleepwalked out of a window and survived with just bruises.

two weeks ago a drunken idiot fell out of a twelfth story balcony. He hit a couple of branches on the way down and was relatively unhurt (with a couple of bruises of course!).
