Looking for Sci-fi/Fantasy films/books with heavy nudity/sex

Post by --Leia-- »

Preferably in animation. Heavy Metal is one of my favorites that fits the above description.

Any films with the animation quality of Final Flight of the Osiris (The Animatrix) available?

Another question: Today in the mall I saw Cowboy Bebop: The Movie on sale for pretty cheap. Is this worth checking out? Any nudity in that series? Ninja Scroll? Akira? Ghost in the Shell?

The Bebop movie is pretty good. No nudity tho. Just go onto Kazaa and download porn.

I don't want porn, per say. I want movies (that are preferably decent) that have lots of nudity/sex. Same goes for books.

I rarely watch porn. It just doesn't get me off anymore.

Bebop has no real nudity (though Faye gets close).

Ghost in the Shell has lots and lots of breast shots.

GitS is pretty good, but the manga is much better.

I didn't like Ninja Scroll at all, personally. The nudity and sexual content really slowed the film down for me.

Akira only has one nude shot of a girl's bare breasts as her shirt is torn off (she's then punched in the face). I like the film and manga a lot. Others may say that they thought Spriggan was better, but I thought it was pathetically empty and shallow.

Of couse, there is a lot more to anime (and animation in general) than nudity, you know. They also have things called plots and characters, you know. :P

Porn doesn't do it for you, eh, Leia? What about that one that Carrie Fischer did back when she was barely legal?

XaLEv, don't be silly. He'd have to watch the entire series and first film beforehand... ;)

Serves him right if he's just watching it for the nudity.

And Leia, just go and buy some hentai or something.

I wouldn't be watching just for the nudity. It's just that I like to see some nudity in my films. Heck, even Return of the Jedi had a green tit in it.

Worthwhile to note that I've only seen End of Evangelion... not the rest of the series...

Anything involving Anne Rice books...

I don't think the movies had any nudity, but the books I read had lots...

DAMN YOU JAPAN! WE'RE SORRY ABOUT THE A-BOMB, STOP THE ANIME!

Ok, some anime is decent(I've yet to find any really exeptional), but if I hate to see my friends slowly become obsessed with anime and Japan. What sane 16 year old keeps 50 pokemon toys on a shelf in his room and over a gig of Hentai in just PICTURES, or constantly squints to try to look Japanese(two different people, and I wish I was kidding about the latter two).

And Hentai is incredibly stupid in my mind.

That's cos you're a total prude. ;)

Ninja Scroll though seems to appeal more to the sex and violence crowd.

Which means I enjoyed it :teeth:

There was nudity in Spriggan? I don't remember any. I do remember enjoying it despite the obvious anti-American bias I saw from time to time.

Methinks "Leia" here is looking more for "Hollywood"-style anime.

Well, in the anime realm, I do know that in Perfect Blue, the main character acts in a SCARILY realistic rape scene (it seems almost too real, the way the Japanese voice actors do it) and poses nude for a photographer in another. Also, if you want tons of sex and violence, check out the anime movie Kite.

Any Harry Turtledove book.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Concerning Kite, make sure you get the "Director's Cut"* version and not the shorter heavily edited version.

*Literally a "cut", as the director removed all the pedophilic junk that the production company had him put in originally...
