Post MM
Well, I've joined the very exclusive 2000 post club, being the 88th user to attain that status.
It took me nearly a year to do it, and I have a posts-per day stat of 5.6, the lowest of any user ever to reach 2000.
Thanks to everyone who's made it memorable! And thanks most of all to Mike Wong for making all this possible.

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Congrats, Robert. Now all you need is a custom title.
I just realised that I just hit 6900 posts myself.

They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

That'd be the next milestone! I'm reserving "is awesome." That way my name + title make a sentence.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Congrats, Robert. Now all you need is a custom title.

Or how about some thing I heard on 'So Grahm Norton', he had Roger Moore on and they did a crank call of sorts. Any way, Moore called some one at random and said;Spanky The Dolphin wrote:LOL!! That's the best idea for a title ever.
"Hello, my name is Moore, Roger Moore. Remember it, you'll be screaming it later."
So your title could be;
Thats my name, remember it, because you'll be screaming it later.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
Wow....not locked yet.
I'm guessing it'll take me approx middle of august to get to 2000.

Re: Post MM
It occurs to me that yesterday, I made approximately 20 posts. And I've been averaging ten posts per day for the last couple of weeks. I should hit 2000 in 30 to 60 days at that rate.Robert Treder wrote:Until then, it's mine, mine I say!GrandMasterTerwynn wrote:That honor will eventually go to me, with my average of 4.20 posts per day.Robert Treder wrote:Well, I've joined the very exclusive 2000 post club, being the 88th user to attain that status.
