I think my favourites have to be the Elton John episode, as I really love the sea of Crocodiles for Crocodile Rock, and the Alice Cooper episode.

It's the Muppet Show ...
It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.
It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.
Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show
And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!

Doesn't anyone like Fozzie or Kermit anymore?
And I still watch the movies. The older I get, the funnier they get.
"But Dad! I want to be different!"
"Then stick some JELLO down your pants!" Wonderful.

I think I liked Floyd (the guitarist who looked like a 'Nam vet and was Animal's handler) the best. Don't know why.

The vikings singing "IN THE NAVY" while pillaging the village.....absolutly pricelessWarspite wrote:Well, regarding my new avatar, and following a trend in the testing forum, What is your favorite Muppet? Any favorite moments? Let's share those good old memories... (specially from the older members, given the yyyyeeeaaarsss this show has)
For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be;
Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails,
Pilots of the purple twilight dropping down with costly bales;
Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rain'd a ghastly dew
From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue;

Now, there's sci-fi! (Specially, when Miss Piggy has to carry out the dangerous task (for the crew of course!) of ironing the Captain's trousers!)
Hokey masers and giant robots are no match for a good kaiju at your side, kid

Do you not believe in Thor, the Viking Thunder God? If not, then do you consider your state of disbelief in Thor to be a religion? Are you an AThorist?-Darth Wong on Atheism as a religion

I'm sure we're just trying to be all indie-punk and talk about obscure muppets. And also it would be a kinda dull thread if everyone picked Kermit.CrimsonRaine wrote:Doesn't anyone like Fozzie or Kermit anymore?

I'll have to say Gonzo, or Stadtler and Waldorf.
