You know, I miss Paul. He was easily my favorite punching bag out of all that era's trektards.

If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! I assume that means he wandered off and took up some other goofy-ass hobby.

Never mind. It's there, it's just under "Spoofs" and not under "What the fuck?" like I expected. Heh.

You mean this guy's serious?! I pinged him when I first caught his name in a certain dark alcove, and I thought he was a drill!Phil Skayhan wrote:JT's is an old ASVSer who's been around since 1999. Jimmy, let me ask you something -- what exactly do you propose here? Are you trying to make arguments? Are you trying to refute arguments? All I see is you crying and wailing and rending your vestments over Ad Homs.
What you don't realize is that, without addressing or refuting a point, your cries of Ad Homs are Ad Homs against the general membership of this board.
To put it bluntly, nobody has insulted you... yet.

When I was doing the restructure a long time ago I wasn't sure where to put it. I decided it fit more in Spoofs than WTF, and since it was a one-off and WTF is reserved more for series...you get the idea.GrandAdmiralPrawn wrote:Never mind. Re: The most well known people of the VS community
Using the DS calcs for a ISD means that the ISDs firepower is atleast in the ET range. That's bit to much when compared to the ICS numbers.Connor MacLeod wrote: Considering that varying EU sources have substantiated the validity of the Dodonna calcs (IE taking the "half the firepower of the Imperial starfleet" literally, rather than the figurative argument some critics claim), its perfectly valid. Others dont like it for much the same reasons they don't like the ICS.
