interesting... I guess if we can eliminate the word "French" from the whole American vocabulary, they can make a card game like that.

Why is Newt Gingrich on one? He's been outta office for HOW long now?
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! Didn't someone in the US make a pack of cards with Chirac as the ace of Spades? (A piss-take of the 'most wanted' list.) Or am I hopelessly mixed up?

In any case, the USA's hands are hardly spotless in this affair.

Did you see they included Bin Laden in the game.

No that did happen.

Based on my limited French they said Osama is "an agent of the CIA who fought the Soviets in Aghganistan."

Bullshit as always. Even funnier that the Soviets withdrew over a decade before Bush came into power.

A joke from a local talk-show host named Mike Bullard:
On this day in 1793, the first national zoo opened in Paris, France. At first, there were complaints about the smell, but eventually, the animals got used to it.

Hahahaah! That's hilarious and entertaining. I'd love a set of those cards. The Iraqi most wanted sets seem so passé now. Wait, did I just use French?

I've been bagging on the Frenchies for as long as I could utter coherent expressions (ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration. Since jr. high anyway). I don't hold anything against them. They're just fun to bag on. I'm sure a gorgeous French lass with a dulcet voice and a lilting accent could change my mind.

What's even funnier is the fact that they're right! Well, shit! How about that eh?

Osama bin Laden was funded by the CIA when operating in Afghanistan against the Soviets. At what point did they ever mention "Bush"? Or are you just reaching more nowadays for proof in the good ole US of A?

The USA funded OBL and the rest of his guys to fight the Soviets, not to start Al-Qaeda.

Bling bling! You are correct. However, the case in point was the original premise, that they funded him to fight the Soviets... Something that GAT seems to disagree with.

What's up tonight? Well, like I said in OT a while ago, I'm only going to be about sporadically for a while, so when I am online I have to get it aaaall out in a short time. And, in case it had been hard to notice, I hope people realise that this is still all in my usual mock-seriousness.

Yeah, we funded OBL back when he was fighting the Soviets. We helped the Soviets too, when they were fighting the Nazis. What the fuck is your point?

Ah, but he was on our side when we fought with the Soviets. It's OK for us to ally ourselves with the most disgusting regime in the world when Europe, the UK, Australia, and Canada are all on your side, fighting with you, but not OK to do it by yourself.
