I created this forum because I'm sick of OSF being polluted with discussions where science isn't allowed. What the fuck is "other SCIENCE fiction" supposed to mean if it's full of discussions where science isn't allowed? For that, I felt there should be a public (rather than private) forum where we can dump all of this "magic" shit.

However, if we would rather keep the Justice League and make this a private forum for them, that's OK too. I suppose we could just put it in the private forum and tell people to become members if they want to join ... it would have the benefit of keeping the number of visible forums down.

Thoughts?

Most of JL was pure Comic talk...little to do with Vs combat or anything.

So we could decide on that basis...but it is rather flimsy.

Private forums exist to discuss things that are not of general interest. Comics are not one of them. Why restrain the view of the forum to only some members and not the entire board, if there's the interest? Too many private forums disrupt the board comunity. I vote to keep this one open.

Most of what me, Rob, Stravo, Mark, and Tysroc easily fits here, and I doubt it'll start anything(unless someone wants to argue Marvel is run by smart people).

That's one idea, but then the comic-book discussions will probably end up in OSF again, unless we move them to the Justice League and tell people to sign up or stop talking about it.

Well I now favor the private forum option even if only one mod is possibul for them. So some people might have to wait a while, not big deal. We don't need yet another new forum.

It's true that it's irksome to add yet another forum, but I was really getting tired of OSF being cluttered up with discussions which have nothing whatsoever to do with technology.

1. Not many would catch onto it. Most would still then post Comic related to OSF.

2. Depends upon which aspect of D&D. If the gaming mechanics and concerns...yes, if something like how Nitram does the Netherese Wizard destroying such and such, that would be done here with some thought.
