The second. I myself don't go out of my way for depressing movies, but it's good to have an emotional catharsis now and then.aerius wrote:I'm just curious. Do you guys deliberately set out to watch depressing movies or do you just come across them?
I watch depressing movies because they're good.aerius wrote:I'm just curious. Do you guys deliberately set out to watch depressing movies or do you just come across them? Personally I watch movies to see action, violence, bloodshed, and hot chicks, or mindless immature "Beavis & Butthead" style comedy, so I very rarely will ever see a movie that's remotely close to depressing. My music collection on the other hand is downright depressing to listen to.
