This could be difficult, seeing as I've got 4 KDE desktops under Linux (each with a different background), 1 Windows 2000 desktop, and 1 Windows 98 desktop.

Rather disconcerting to see a Mac with a command prompt :P

What, should I next show Windows XP running bash on a translucent shell?

Imagine a windows desktop without wallpaper...

That is mine right now... it'll be righted soon, but not yet...

Don't try one-upping OS X with XP in terms of showing off. You'll lose. Just watch me put that translucent terminal over a DVD that's playing without spiking my CPU. :)

No, all those tools are on my work PC. I was running some extended pings and trace routes trying to find out why my ISDN is dropping mad packets when I game J-O. I closed out my other testing programs, but forgot about the command prompt. But one day I shall hack the Gibson (worst movie ever).

Anyways: Home Desktop

Ah ok.

Next time you're hacking, just say yes. :)

EDIT: Get Spybot SD. It's hella better than Ad-Aware. 8)

Bah. Unlike you, my DVD app can actually take advantage of my video card's hardware acceleration :P

As far as I know, DVD Player.app uses the graphics hardware for scaling. That's why you can put a translucent Terminal window over it and still see the video at full framerate through the window, on a QuartzGL-capable box, anyway.
