Site problems

Is anyone else having problems getting on the site or is it just me?

It has been down for a while, but the problem seems to be over.

Yeah me too. Couldn't visit the boards for an hour or so. Seems to be working now though.

Nah...it seemed everyone did get it

About the time I was cleaning up till now...so about an hour(and I thought it was because the Windows clean up screwed up something

Board could've been down cause of that huge hacker attack expected in the news. Maybe.

(not attacking the board's server, but attacking those main servers across the country and the world)

Remember that the server we are using is Mike's home computer, it's possible it was simply getting to much traffic for it to handle. were there any error messages that popped up?

The server went down yesterday at the same hour and for a similar period of time.

Does anyone here ever get the error message "Invalid_session" after they make a post?

Might be its making a backup copy. That slowed down the board on its dedicated server. With the increased load on Mikes computer it likely cant do both at once so the board often goes down.

Sometimes. I asked Mike about it once and he said it’s a cookie problem that comes up now and then, often your post will still go through anyway. Clearing cookies fixes it.
