I woudn't even bother replying to them, since they're probably just a bot or they don't give a shit what you say.

When I use WinMX, every so often I'll get a message from someone that's from some Asian person DLing from me, so it's filled with nonsense characters like "##|@\_**%||***%(#)$#@$#|". It's quite irritating that I have no idea what they're saying.

I got those as well, but there is an option to simply block those messages and ever since I checked that off I haven't been bothered since.

I use Overnet. Great program. The best feature is that you can take links from the 'net and download them with the program. For example, this link takes you to a site that you can download a bunch of games, DVDs, and.. other stuff from. (if anyone in GALE is interested, they have a HUGE gay section in there). The sites can stay up because you aren't actually downloading the file from the site, just telling the program exactly which file to search for.[/end ad for Overnet]

I've never gotten such a message. Matter of fact, the ONLY PM I've ever gotten over p2p networks is off of WinMX from a guy telling me that he wouldn't be able to finish the transfer instead of just killing WinMX outright, cutting me off. I hate it when people do that.
