Nighttime, when I can clearly see the stars. Next to that would be twilight.

As for my least favorite, sunrise, because it hurts my eyes so much. (damned photosensitivity)

[EDIT] I like the starts so much for the same reason that people like the sun so much. People get winter depression from not seeing the sun.. I get depressed when I don't see the stars.

As well, I loathe sun. Always have and always will (and then we wonder why I get called a vampire/the devil so many times). Plus, my internal clock thinks I need to sleep when the sun comes up (about now).

Actually, another cool time is dawn. But only after an all nighter. I once was up clubbing with some mates, went to the casino for the rest of the early morning, then came out by the river for sunrise. It was really nice.

Early morning. I wake at 4:00 a.m. so I can be at work at 5:30 a.m. It's quiet out, the birds are singing, very little traffic on the road *sigh*.

Early morning, when I was still doing swim practice and would wake up at 5:30-6 just when the sun was coming up and everything's still quiet and peaceful. Oftentimes there'd still be a mist on the grass and the smell of trees and flowers in the air. But swim practice is done with and I don't get up that early anymore so my new favorite time is evening & twilight just as the sun goes down. It's almost like the morning but without the mist and fresh smells.

I've stayed up all night reading a Banks book and listen to the birds wake up.

I also go to sleep when it's dawn or just pre dawn...when the sky's a blue colour anyway...and i always think of the slayer song "at dawn they sleep" and think about killing those noisy-ass birds outside.

I can't count the times ive ended up watching all the bbc learning zone programs.

Baout 7:30 pm. By then i'm home from work, fed, and changed out of my suit. Frim that time on i'm free of the opression of being a wage slave and having to be nice to dumb bastards on the phone. I work for an electrical wholesalers called Kenco and the ammount of assholes who call up asking for coffee and cups isn't funny.

Afternoons, because it's the only time I'm fully awake and have lots of free time to do stuff. Mornings I'm not awake yet, evenings I'm busy, and nights I'm tired again.

The yellow face? There's a creative name for the Infernal Ball of Hydrogen. Or Sol. Or many just call it the sun. It doesn't deserve such an honor though.

You mean you don't recognize it?

"Why does the yellow face hurts me?"-Gollum (paraphrased)

Anyway, I hate the sun, too. Mid-early morning (from 3 to 5 o'clock) is my favorite time.
Don't hate; appreciate!

RIP Eddie.

Night time. Sitting your ass out on a comfortable lawn chair looking up at the stars. It's far nicer when cool. Other times are sawn and and dust.

For me, it is definitely night. I work overnight and when I am off, I go out and cruise around to see what kind of "trouble" I can get into. I guess I am kind of old for that, but there is nothing like finding a nice guy who is just as bored as I am. I have met many a nice guy in the parking lot of the House of Pies Restaurant on Westheimer in Houston, TX

Dawn is my favourite.

The birds begin to sing, you can feel the water on the grass as you walk by, the sun comes up.....no phone calls, no radio, no TV...just me and nature.

...and then I've to ruin that perfect feeling by driving to my office... :x
