What are you MP games are you currently playing and waiting for?

Currently playing (in order of most played):
Natural Selection
Battlefield 1942 (Desert Combat Mod - if you have BF1942 GET THIS NOW)
Jedi-Outcast

Waiting for:
Jedi Academy
Half-Life 2 (mainly Team Fortress 2)

I post this because I have mainly been interested in Team Based Objective games and while randomly jumping from server to server is fun, you tend to run into the lowest common demoninator when it comes to the class of gamers you play with. Unfortunately, I am the only avid gamer among my friends and am always interested in gaming with people who don't use the word "noob" or "lamer" 30 times a match.

I love it personally. If you don't know anything about it: try mixing StarCraft with the movie: Aliens (the second one). Marines vs aliens with the ability to build and upgrade structures. I play this game constantly and love every second (unless massive amounts of morons decide to populate my favorite servers).

Right now I'm mostly only playing Warcraft 3 online. I'm also in on the beta test for Starshatter, so I'm helping work all the bugs out of multi. In it's current state it's just barely playable. I look foreward to the day the FreeSpace 2 community gets multi back to respectable levels, and I imagine I'll play then. I have an interest in getting one of the next run of FPS games (such as Half 2 and Doom 3), or perhaps the set after that. Haven't really done much looking into that. And I have no doubt that I shall aquire Starcraft 2 some years from now, lol.

One of these days I'll give Wolfenstein a whirl on MP. When I feel confident that I wont get Pw33n3d by the other team or a single-digit framerate because some asshole's ad banner on a website i have in the background..

I'm waiting for Halo. And any damn incarnation of Serious Sam.

Co-op mode is my friend.

Although naturally I'm waiting for the 'experience' of DOOM3 and Half-Life 2. And every BF 1942 expansion pack, such as the upcoming Secret Weapons of WWII.

The good 'ol Co-op days when you and your buddies united to work through the single campaign of the game...like system shock 2...there are so many games where that would be amazing...and they haven't added it! the lifespan of games would go up ten fold if you could get friends to join you...and imho it would make the games far more enjoyable

I try and put in a HW game whenever, kicks ass. Mostly I play with mods on so I have to make sure everything's off before I go in. Mostly I try and put together modded games. So much fun.

MP games? MP games? Why the hell would I be waiting for MP games - what I'm waiting for is for developers to go back to the days when SP was the focus of the game and MP a bonus, not like it is now where its almost like the developers go:

"SHIT - we've got an engine with multiplayer, but we forgot the singleplay and it goes gold tomorrow..."

I have to agree WMA, though there are some developers that still stay true to such things....Coaan and I have both been playing a lot of stuff by Sir Tech of late. None of thier things we have got are multiplayer but they have damn good involving and well made single players....take for example Jagged Alliance 2, such a good squad strategy game.

Seriously, back when I had my computer, I'd play Morrowind and some Civ 3. Most of my playing time was spent on Internet Go, which isn't really gamer worthy.
