The bridge tower. Doctor Curtis Saxton has done considerable work on this, and determined that the main bridge of the Executor was also centrally located in the bridge tower.

It's one of the nodules at the front face of the tower... The ICS has it in the middle, but Curtis Saxton has identified other possible positions for bridges, check his page on the towers, he covers them pretty well.

There are noticeable 'nodes' at the centre of every bridge tower variant, as well as a bridge tower used in ROTJ with multiple nodes, possibly the 'Communications Ship' discussed in the novelization.
