MoO3 Apologists

Post by Xon »

Is it just me or are the official MoO3 forum filled with MoO3 Apologists?

Reading some their rationalizations for why the game is fixed at 800x600 was mind numbing.

Some poor guy was slammed because he said he was returning the game because he couldnt change the resolution!

Oh why did MoO3 have to be crapware :x, and Atari owns the Total Annihilation licence

It's packed with delusional people who have tricked themselves into thinking they didnt waste some 4-5 years waiting for this piece of crap.

Luckily, Galactic Civilizations is far superior. Go to www.galciv.com and see how those fellas support the living fuck out of their game. There's already been several updates that are mostly gameplay tweaks/adjustments, and they've committed themselves to a full year's worth of free expansion packs, with the first coming out in August.

Not to mention that the game has far more personality, is far more intuitive, and a lot less boring than MOO3.

No that moves it from unplayable to barely playable.

It still does not migrate the deep design issues the game has.

Sure...if you want to watch wee dots shoot flashing beams at each other when you do actually make it into some kind of combat...this is the game for you!

Otherwise...prepare to be bored out your mind..

It's in the release version? Because I've seen the user made ones, some of em are just stupid- though I do have to look harder to download the good looking ones: I liked the sunken Star Destroyer.

It's either in the release version or in one of the patches. You'll know it when you see it.

There's also the many cracks at Microsoft and the praises of IBM :)
