You realize of course that cooking stuff like rice, raman, and chili is easy to the level of put it in boiling water, stir. Right?Howedar wrote:I can make a fine batch of cookies. Stirring is a concept humans invented for making you get up off the chair and walking into the kitchen to tend to your food; supposedly doen so because the companies think we're "not getting enough exercise". WTF! Pour it in, set the timer, LEAVE. And if anyone does it differently, they're wasting their energy! And if anyone doubts my conspiracy theories....I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE...Captain_Cyran wrote:*Smacks his head.* Dude, it says on the instructions. STIR! Wow, that's pretty bad...

You don't need to move over to the kitchen, you throw it in the pot, sit down on a chair, stir as it cooks, then let it cool. There are like...3 instructions! You just want to be like that 123 lbs 4 year old.

Come over here and say that tough guy!Captain_Cyran wrote:I don't think you know where I live, and even if you do, I'm not afraid
I don't have a chair near my stove, and even if I did I still wouldn't cause then I couldn't see the TV. TV good, stirring bad. And letting it cool? I don't let things cool; I eat it when its finished cooking, right outta the pot. My friend claims I have a fire-proof mouth, but I think he's just a wuss. You don't need to move over to the kitchen, you throw it in the pot, sit down on a chair, stir as it cooks, then let it cool.
I fear if I tried my heart would set on fire. Still, something to shoot for.You just want to be like that 123 lbs 4 year old.

As it stands, Gnomes do not gain of lose weight according to what they eat. They remain the same as the day the factory built them. Which means I can do cool shit like this...Of course you can take anything hot, you're ceramic remember? And it is, and once you reach that horrible obesity, be sure to tell us.
*presses button on wrist, and large machinery drops from the ceiling and begins whirring all about DGG's body. When the dust settles*
TA-DA! *points to his extra four eyes, and feet the size of mack trucks*
Yeah, I get to that kinda stuff all the time. Actually gets kinda boring after a while...*sighs*

Re: A question for the ladies
I don't see why it would; it's a very useful skill to have, and actually, a surprising number of older men actually know how to make simple repairs in their clothing, something that almost nobody, male or female, can do these days, which is just ridiculous. Of course, I'm not much of an expert on this, I confess.Alex Moon wrote:If a guy admitted to knowing how to knit, how would that affect your opinion of him?

Geez, I can do simple sewing repairs (actually, around here I qualify as an "older man" ). They're not that great and would be better if I didn't have to do them by hand but I bet most people could do at least some repairs if they bothered to give it a shot and had access to needle and thread. The Duchess of Zeon wrote: I don't see why it would; it's a very useful skill to have, and actually, a surprising number of older men actually know how to make simple repairs in their clothing, something that almost nobody, male or female, can do these days, which is just ridiculous. I can make dumplings from scratch. I can also cook noodles, rice, and make pancakes. Yum. No needle skills, though.

To sew, cook, clean, and other skills that having nothing do with maniliness persay.
Though I am able to cut trees down quite well, and put up a shed with little difficulty.
