How do you pirate books, my friend? With a scanner, Adobe Acrobat, and a lot of patience...on both ends. The 'copy' of D20 Modern I have at the moment is almost 118 megs....

An advice: assign multiple people to play each character. This way, one player can keep the character's action going during his or her turn even though another player is absent. Have multiple DMs as well.

A potential conflict with multiple players per character can be solved by using a "first come, first serve" basis. Basically, a character does which ever player posts first. This way, each round can be resolved relatively quickly.

I think that should only be done if two people WANT to do so. Otherwise you're only asking for trouble.

Of course. What I had in mind assumed the said players won't run into conflict. The goal was simply to speed things up.

Can I join? I know the rules for 3rd edition, and I have most of the books listed. I would like to play a crack adicted rouge, but due to the fact that you didn't list the book of vile darkness, I would like to play a crane samuri who will later be an Iaijutsu master.

You pirate books by using kazaa and searching documents for what you want. I hope that helps.
