OK, I'm not that into magic anymore (last serious buying period was Apocalypse, I bought a couple of Scourge cards and they are my first cards in a long time).

Anyway:
Casual play; my shifting sky/honorable scout deck.

Don't have my cards here but it includes
4 shifting skies: Turn all permanents into color of your choice (red/black in this case)
4 Honorable scout: whenever honorable scout comes into play add 2 life for each red/black permanent. (They are bounced back to my hand a lot in this deck) (Beat a casual Sliver Deck with this simply by gaining more life than they could deal damage a turn)
4 Crimson/Obsidian Acolytes
4 of those white/blue 3/3 flying drakes that bounce a creature back from planeshift
2 Waterfront Bouncers
Rebel Gliders (the red or black version)

Plus the usual stuff:
counterspells, Orim's chant, disenchants, Cho-Manno's blessing etc.

It works pretty well.

I find that I can't play red. I only have one deck (out of 7 decks) that has some red in it and it's a tri-color deck of Red White and Green. My Favorite color to use is...tough choice, I'd say Black or Green.

Same here (though I prefer white and green), red just seems so...boring (throw lightining bolt, summon assload of goblins, summon big Dragon, pump some critters and throw a fireball.)

Maybe if you tried playing with some of the newer cards, instead of living in the past...

Even with the new cards, red still is the most straight-forward colour to play.

The 80% deck. So called for it's win ratio.

Blue/White Bird deck
Falcons. Every falcon I could get my hands on. Zephyr, Skyshroud, Duskrider, Bay ... any that have special abilities like 'Does not tap to attack' or "Protection"
Owls. Sage and Spire. Always nice to have a way to determine what cards are coming next, and chose the order. The blue card Sift also helps here.
Soraya the Falconer. All Falcons get +1+1.
Azimaet and Wind Drakes, and Mystic Familiar. For blockers mainly, with the higher defense than a normal falcon.
Pacifisms, Remove Souls, Counterspells, Boomerangs, Undo, Recall, Rewind, Disenchants. For those pesky spells and summons the oppenent might throw.
Alabaster Potions, Healing Salve, Gerrard's Wisdom. Always nice to prevent/gain back what life you've lost.
And the coup de grace ... Emyprial Armor. +X/+X to target creature, where X is the # of cards in hand.

A flying 8/8 Falcon, when can either block the oppenent's attack on their turn or has Protection from a color in their deck, has been the downfall of many opponents.

Just ask Nitram...

Many of the first decks I played with were Red. It was hard to beat Disintegrate, Lightning Bolt, and Fireball in their original forms. Creature-wise, it was weak on cheap weenies, but when you had the mana, Dragon Whelp, Granite Gargoyle, Fire Drake were all able to cause mass havoc. Then, Shivan Dragon mopped the floor. Honestly, if you wanted mass destruction and power cards, Red was Best.

However, Red has always been weak against Enchantments, and there's no easy way to regain lost Life. This is why Red is used so often in multi-decks such as the 'Bloody Bruiser', "Land Destruction', and countless others that rely on Direct Damage.

Blue/White Bird deck...

What, no Soulcatchers? Soulcatcher's Aerie? Kangee, Aerie Keeper? Seaside Haven? Suntail Hawk? Giant Albatross? Stormscape Familiar?

It's a nice wee birdie deck ye have, really, even though a lot has changed in the world of UW bird decks since the days of Soraya.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

<snip>
A few cards you could add to that are Library of Leng, "Lookie my hand can be as big as I want...lookie that creature is a 15/15" (I have a white/blue deck which has done exactly this. If you want to play a game that gets pretty confusing, play against my white/blue deck.)

Another card is...ummm, damn can't remember it's name. She's an Archangel, 3/3 I think, get's +1/+1 for each creature with flying in play.

Which is why I have a White and Green and Red deck. Direct damage, big creatures, life gaining. It kicks ass in multiplayer.

I have a green/white deck. The funny thing is that it is my best deck and i don't even like white that much

Unfortuantely, I only have one real deck. It's a green/white one, trample plus some useful enchantments... It's partially anti-black, since my friend played one. It works fairly well, if I get the right amount of mana.

I've always had them in my Goblin deck. Suppose it fits.

If you are playing with something other than birds artificial evolution is great with soulcatcher.

Also suntail is nice, helps out white weenie decks.

Also a note to those who play blue decks, add 4 dipersal shields if you play T2. This counters target spell if its casting cost is less than or equal to the greatest casting cost among your permanents. This can kill a morph deck, since even though you have to pay 3 colorless mana to cast a morph creature, the converted casting cost is 0.

Another nice card from Scourge is Pemmin's Aura, a creature enchantment that costs 2 blue and a colorless. It gives whatever creature you want all the abilities of a Morphling, the greatest blue creature ever made.

I had a anti-black deck that was white/green. Lanowar Knight, and all the Mystic creatures from Judgement formed the basis for the creature part. A couple of Mirari's Wake really helped to pump my creatures up and addd mana.

Jugement and Apocolypse are both great sets to get cards from for antiblack decks, since Judgement was basically made to counter Torment, a set based alsmost entirely on black. Apocolypse had alot of color protection cards, plus creatures, instants, and enchantments that can turn non-black creatures to black, incase you use it to go against a non-black deck.
