Soooo hot!

Post by His Divine Shadow »

The weather that is, I am always hot so thats nothing special, it's atleast 30 degrees celsius here(86F), not bad considering this is Finland and the arctic circle is maybe 2-300 kilometers north.

Sure, we do that here too, I'm just complaining because this is the best weather so far this summer(mean temp of 20 I think).
The problem is that i have 4 weeks of summer vacation, the problem is that we take one week in the middle to work, and that just happens to be the hottest week yet, damn.

I was in Washington for the last week, and it was rarely warmer than 80 degrees. Things really aren't too thrilling here in PA either. Just 80's weather with the occasional thunderstorm and rain.

I don't get it?
If you're talking about the winter and the darkness, then the sun usually sets by 2-3PM at it's worst.
During the summer it never sets.

You can divide Texas roughly into three regions

West:Dry,sandy,cacti=desert

central:not too dry not too wet, hilly, grass=Texas's hilly version of the African savannah.

east(where I live):humid,water water everywhere,gulf plains,trees everywhere=cross between wetlands and forests.

I'll take the beer, I'm afraid you'll have to be left at home though :P
Besides, the beach isn't that big, only like 5 meters wide.

That wouldn't be true if you still had your artic coastline me thinks. Lots of old Russian reactors in that ocean.

As for heat, it's going out to about the same today, 88F, here in Philadelphia which is rather further south. But 88 really is on the cool side for us, especially when combine with the fairly low humidity.

I'd just have to narrow it off to the west coast then :P

For you it may be bad...but at least from the sound of it, at least you're not in some awful muggy heat.
