Was there anything exploitable from Nemesis ? I've heard that it demonstrated that photorps were only low kiloton-level, but I'd like to see the derivation...

Robert Scott Anderson has been nice enough to post a count of the total number of weapons hits that each ship sustained during the fighting. It turns out that the Scimitar was actually hit by at least 12 torpedoes, and nine quantum torpedoes, so if you want you can go through and divide further. Remember that the ACTUAL yield of the torpedoes that I calculated will be a little more than twice the value that was shown, because I was measuring the effective yield instead of the total yield, and geometric concerns mean that about half of the energy involved in an explosion will be "lost," and not actually damage the target.The Nomad wrote:Was there anything exploitable from Nemesis ?
