Why the fuck do you people read this stuff? It's set *how* many years after the original trilogy? How do you STAND it? It makes me sick just thinking about it- I was reading about Jacen and Jaina as fucking toddlers in the first Zahn books and now Jaina's a slut? What the fuck is this series? There should be a fucking law about taking our heroes of the OT and turning them into old codgers with annoying brat kids.

Yep, probably the most normal kid out of all of em, what with Jacen dating a social outcast, Jaina getting more bed time than Wilt Chamberlain and J.F.K combined, and Anakin dying off right when he was starting to actually get somewheres...

I thought we were up to 30 years after AHN now, or is that when Unifying Force is set?

He's decent cos we havent seen him DO anything that would make him some Force powerful brat on an ego trip. The only thing I remember hearing about him recently is Luke looking at a monthly holo of him, IIRC.

So how many years are we from ANH now? I know NJO starts 25 years after, but when it says 25-30 does it mean Unifying Force is 30 after ANH or that Remnant, Refugee and Reunion are 30 years after ANH?

I found it more like he thought thier militaristic aspects, which seem very prevalent in their society, where great.

I have finished the Force Heretic trilogy. Zenoma Sekot is going to do something fucked up. I can tell. Yuzhan Ta'ar is probably going to be taken back over, or just shat on. But it's very easy to tell that Nom Anor is probably going to have something to do with the over throwing of Shimrra, but I still think the supreme overlord is going to do battle with a Jedi. I can't say which, because this really isn't Luke's battle anymore, Anakin's dead, Jaina killed Tsavong Lah in the most shittiest piece of literature since KJA first scribbled on a napkin, and Jacen is a bigger pussy than his sisters flapping vagina. But a Jedi, possibly Tahiri is going to fight Shimrra. If you think about it. She incorporates both the Vong and the Jedi. She is an extension in a way of Anakin. It would also go along with unifying force. there. suck it down folks. i got ten on this one.

Then again, maybe the Chiss society does not look down on him, maybe their arrogance and phobia is cultural, not racial, so since Jag was raised in Chiss society he might be considered equal.

Well the authors are morally idiotic. They don't see anything wrong with Kyp running around after being psychologically fucked up (even if forbidden he should've been sent to do volunteering and civil help, and barred from ever using the Force again) and killing billions of people. They don't see anything wrong with a vastly racist, xenophobic, backward, communist, insular, and militaristic society like the Chiss. They paint the Jedi as morons who don't know the Vong needed to be fought. Can you really tell me there's a massive moral argument against using a strategic weapon (Centerpoint) against an invasion fleet of enslaving religious fanatics?

Fel is granted an exception only because he peformed to "Chiss standards." He had to live up to being a Chiss, rise above his humanity. If that isn't racist, I don't know what is.

I know it said so, I don't see what it proves, Peterson was not Chiss, perterson was most definitly not from Chiss Society.
It is still equally possible that if it was a chiss raised human that Thrawn would not have done so.

I also wonder why Thrawn did not kill his replacement when he did a similar error, possibly because he showed promise and creativity, something possibly Thrawn thought of as traits of Chiss culture and therefore decided to encourage such behaviour.
