new amendment

Post by Enforcer Talen »

proposed by me.

"when a person becomes eligable to vote, they may do with their body as they wish."

that kills the drug war, lowers the alchohal limit, legalizes porn fully, bdsm, homosexuality, prositution, and euthanaisa.

Nah. Too much an extension of federal power.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I prefer "Congress shall make no law intruding upon the privacy of free citizens without due process of law," to shut up the "there's no right to privacy in the Constitution!" wankers. That's not the exact wording I'd use, but it's the basic idea.

I'd place the second amendment in bold caps.

I'd add a right of privacy amendment to the Constitution too, although I'm sure anti-sodomy laws could be struck down by pointing out how there isn't much of a non-religous argument against sodomy, and if you put a law on the books that is justified with only religous arguments, that might violate the first amendment where it says Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion.

Skimmer: I'd put the address of military recruiters in bold caps ;D The consitution doesnt say the militia is private, and the military is a militia, so right to own guns is there you just gotta join the military.

Anyway, I would make the amendment say:

Congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of morals regarding actions voluntarilly undertaken by those physically or economically affected by the consequences of those actions in locations voluntarilly but not necessarilly voluntary in occupation thereof, nor shall it make any laws regarding the monitoring and recording of private activities.
