Mind if I borrow your dreadnought Einy? (Shep saw UofMD)
Just got back from the U of MD College Park Campus library......
MY.....GOD.
They have over SEVEN FLOORS of books, in a fucking HUGE building,
and they have all kinds of books, from Heinz Guderian's Memoirs in
the original german, to russian language books on WWII...
I mean we're talking fucking huge, the biggest research library in Maryland...
So I've decided to steal it.
Einy can keep the library computers and graft them into a nightmarish hybrid
of them that allows him to run Quake 3 at 5,000 FPS, and I get all the
military books

Oooooooh, College Park. That town is a research historian's wet dream.

Ahh, I am reminded of the Axinn Library over at Hofstra. Ten floors, though only floors 3-9 (or 4-9?) have books, while the basement contains a lot of periodicals and at least a dozen copiers.

Just use your HAB standard issue fighting position excavation kit.

Besides we need the room for our underground society once my Cockroaches for nuclear proliferation reach the next phase of their master plan.

Could be tricky, as research libraries typically don't have sci-fi sections.Vorlon1701 wrote:I want the Sci-Fi Section, and every Single Asimov and Herbert book please. Is it possible?

Shep? You honestly didn't know about McKeldin and all the crap they had there? I'm suprised, if I'd have knwon you wanted it that bad I could have checked it all out for you when I was still enrolled there.
Anyway if you want to take it out just wait until Maryland beats Duke then tell the nearly riotous students that the library should be taken somewhere. Suddenly you will have a horde of several thousand drunken frat boys lifting the entire structure and taking it away to the location where you claim the bonfire is at.

Bad news guys......I went to the office of the Friends of the Library...Guess
how much it fucking costs to get "special borrowing priveliges"?
$100 fucking dollars!
On top of this, if you go there during the week, you have to FUCKING PAY for parking at 50 cents per half hour!!!
What the FUCK are we giving our tax money to U of MD for? So they can
put forth an overrated college sports team?
