This is ancient stuff, but always good

I've seen many other pictures on the net depicting people with the bowel sticking out the butt

It appears to be some kind of fetish

The injury itself may be real, but the story complementing it isn't, as pointed out on Snopes. I really don't think it's that gross, but I wouldn't want my rectum collapsing out of my ass.
