Don't you just LOVE spammers? Maybe we should fire them off into the sun along with the asshole lawyers.

Exactly what I think.Vertigo1 wrote:Don't you just LOVE spammers? Maybe we should fire them off into the sun along with the asshole lawyers.
Think about this for a moment: 40% to 80%(!!!!) of email traffic is Spam and climbing at a heart-stopping pace, and only 150 individuals are responsible for the vast majority of the shit. Compare this to just one year ago when it was estimated at 8% of email. So if you kill the top 150 spammers, spam will instantly become a non-issue. I'm not condoning violence against spammers, but if someone does take matters into his/her own hands and launches any attack on a spammer, I will not shed a damn tear or condemn the attacker one iota whatsoever. I get the feeling no one on the Internet will either...

I WANT THE MPEG!!! Standard encoding, no fancy-pants DivX, 3ivX, XviD, etc etc etc...
Anyways, it basically had a telemarketer ringing this dude up at 5am trying to get him to buy some magazine subscriptions. When told what time it is there, the telemarketer informs him that its 7am where he's at, and blabbers on. (the recipient being on his cell phone) The guy drives up to the call center (still wearing his robe), walks to the telemarketer's cubicle, yanks the phone off the desk and slams it on the ground and proceeds to jump on it several times. Then came the "Need a more satisfying crunch?" punchline.

If I'm not mistaken, what evidence-eliminator is suppose to do is wipe clean the index.dat file in the /Windows/cookies directory. This can easily be done by taking the file off write-protect and using nothing more than Notepad.

And they want $100 for THAT?!?! Scamming Spamming ASSHOLES!! I could do that in my sleep, or just make it completely unnecessary by using Mozilla.Lord of the Farce wrote:If I'm not mistaken, what evidence-eliminator is suppose to do is wipe clean the index.dat file in the /Windows/cookies directory. They're also responsible for a variant of the JS/Fortnight virus as well, as any visitors to arheo.com Google Link will tell you.
Basically their modus operandi is to redirect you to legally-questionable porn, then scare you into thinking the FBI is trying to bust you for pedophilia, neatly playing both sides (porn sites and bogus FBI threats) against the middle (you, aka Joe Net.Surfer). At one point they actually used the threat of being anally raped whilst in prison to terrify people into buying the software. Is it any wonder why decent people with otherwise not a care in the world feel the need to attack Evidence Eliminator?

Exactly! I could write my own batch file to do that for free.
