Slowly Strip the skin off them, keeping them alive, and then when you know they are in extreme pain but still hungry drop them into a pit of starved panthers, or Hyenas, or Lions, or ligers, or another hungry carnivore to show them just how "natural" their way of life is.

I'm trying to respond on a level that might register with him, since offering facts doesn't seem to work. (if you'll notice in that other thread, when I offered facts, he called me an asshole. Maybe YOU ought to get a 'fucking clue' from that, bud.)

Besides, there have been a few decent examples refuting his premise already in the thread, in terms of ways to make a different diet work safely. Also, I've found that in life (that is, off net) the more one sez in defense of a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle, the more easily one is dismissed with roll-eyes; I'm sure the internet emoticon would be trotted out here if I bothered with a min-essay, so why bother with it again?

Shoot, I even see your response as herd mentality ... longtimers here apparently have to band together to exercise defense of their little realm. Fuck it, this is no better than Krutzler's trekweb or any of the other petty fiefdoms. I shoulda known better than to even try enhancing accuracy in posting on bbs sites. For the record, I know how to eat a healthy vegetarian diet, and do not lump all vegetarians together. I may enjoy mocking dietary fascists and child murderers, but I've had several RL vegetarian friends, and friends who were members of PETA, even. But they never made the news with tales of outrageous, criminal treatment of their kids, nor do most.

Maybe you'll find a way to twist this around to fit your preconcieved notions of how this place operates?

Good Idea, but I'd do away with the feeding to carnivores and substitue an hourly salt and vinegar bath/rolling.
