Spetember 11th is fine with me. But reducing it to Nine-eleven seems both callous and disrespectful. You might not understand but then again judging from your behaviour I don't expect you to.

I didn't say "you asked for it". That is all in your mind. But if you want to believe that, I can't help it.

No, I just keep seeing "they did it for reason" and that makes is harder than hell to believe that you don't think it.

I am also sick unto death of reducing it to "911".
But when the media in this country is the most guilty party for promulgating the trivialisation, and any yahoo being interviewed on camera repeats it, apparently proving that it is how the public here thinks of the event, can you really be so hard on someone for doing the same on a BBS? Abreviations and acronyms are rife here.

I find it as distasteful here as in real life. Typing out September 11th isn't so hard. I've done it several times now and I think showing a little respect for the tragedy is entirely appropriate.
