What is the best movie with a dragon in it?
To add: If a dragon movie was as good as Aliens or The Terminator, how much money would it deserve to make?
PS: If I've missed out anything, scream at me.

As someone said to me today (Stormbringer?) congradulations on hijacking your own thread ! And about the D&D movie, it reminds me of a joke; Who was that bad actor that looked like Jeremy Irons anyway? One of my friends actually said that when he walked out of it, so...

Does Anime Count?
I'd have to say the Dragons in Record of Lodoss War were the toughest reptiles i've ever seen. Narse, the Dark Dragon was especially crazy and Shooting Star's diet consisted mostly of humans.

I'm quite surprised by the popularity of Reign of Fire. I quite enjoyed it, but it needed 1: more of an epic scale (ie actually show what happened in the intervening years), and 2: a level of tension somewhere approaching Aliens. (Sorry, but that's the shoe size a human vs dragon movie should try to wear. I wanted to see those soldiers really PANIC! Can you imagine Private Hudson trying to face off a dragon?)
Also, the dragon battle in D&D was by far the best thing about that stupid movie. RoF had 3 times the budget, but apparently less screen time for the dragons. Nonetheless, their dragons were far more lifelike than the rather stiff clockwork statues in D&D. I would not be surprised if a RoF dragon had more megabytes in one spike than an entire D&D dragon.
