ha! in 2 hours i will be on my way to a weekend of peace and quiet (and drunkeness) in the middle of nowhere! no electricity. no phones. no indoor plumbing, just a log cabin in the middle of the White Mountains. so long city slickers!

That's horrible. It's so hard to believe that there are places on Earth that are so seperated from civilization, something must be done!

actually, there is a refrigerator. it is somehow powered by propane. i'm kinda curious to see how that works. LPG is cold i guess, but what powers the compressor...... who cares, as long as the beer stays cold.

I thought the propane powered the compressor.

I know you can get natural gas powered air conditioners for your house so I would think a propane refrigerator would work in a similar fashion. Unfortunately I don't know how they exactly work.

during pt, I was assigned to do mountain man excercises -

where you put yourself in push up positions, and then snap your legs from farthest from chin to closest.

50 or 60 of those is painful.
