That's not what I meant. When you are a projectionist, you are litterally trained to watch for the print of a film and to access it's quality. I hear people bitchin' about the cue marks on a film *coughDarthWongcough*, that's nothing, I can catagoraclly see sooo much damage in films that you focus on it, rather than the movie it's self! For example when we get a new movie, we tech screen it to see whether it's damaged, or made up correctly. And I am sorry, but you will now 'see' this problem more often now that it has been called to your attention. That's one of the draw backs in being a projectionist, you can never truely enjoy watching a movie because your mind and eye is trained to watch the print quality fist and foremost! Hey want me to ruin your watching experience with the Star Wars original trilogy too? Tell me and I will tell you what to watch out for, it's actually quite funny, but I think after you realise it, you would end up hating me for it. One of the reason's why friends don't go and see movies with me!
Heh. Where I'm from, we have a name for that. "Work injury". But even though I understand it, I still don't feel it myself. I can look at an mpeg-decoded movie and enjoy it just as much... or almost. On a side note, this also means that I will be seeing the Two Towers before everyone else, just like I saw AOTC before everyone, but I don't enjoy it as much because I am not 'watching the movie' but rather 'watching the quality of the print'. That's what I meant.

You're luckier than me. I can't help but see compression artifacts off of a downloaded movie - or for that matter the artifacts in either the print or digital release of AOTC.Eleas wrote:Heh.
