The WCoTC bullshit about the supposed "evils" of interracial relationships and "race traitors" got me thinking about the number of people who were in such - I have no idea really. So I thought I'd ask this question just to see how many people here have actually been in one or are in one.

nope, only white chicks. i believe it´s harder to get an interracial relationship over here simply because there aren´t as many people from other races as in the states for example.

Ive dated outside my race many times. It is a pretty easy thing to do here in the Bay Area. BTW: Im white.

Ive dated White, Chinese, Philipino, Korean, and one girl was from Central America.

I have been in relationships with 3 women since getting out of high school in 1988... 1 swedish, 1 guianian (from where Ariane launches) and 1 puerto rican.

none of the above worked out, although the last one could have if my then immaturity (I was only 23 at the time) hadn't reared its' ugly head... haven't been close like that since (desperately seeking), and still berate myself for my behavior. if it were possible to change just 1 thing in my personal timeline, I would prevent the instant of my putting my foot in my mouth to the knee that caused that breakup, as she was the only one I have found so far who accepted me as I was in toto, and actually was genuinely interested in me because I was that way (mad -- amateur -- scientist then, now & forever). by far the vast majority of women I meet find my way of thinking repulsive if not downright abhorrent (always needing evidence before making a conclusion... constantly theoriziing about stuff they dont want to be bothered with, and especially my insistence in bothering them with it etc.)

ok... now to put my 2 cents in.

race defined by skin color does not exist. It is merely a fiction -- ie a LIE -- that only the clinically insane or woefully ignorant want to make true. Classification of organisms ENDS with species, the smallest possible sub-typing there is, and the determinant of wether 2 individuals can mate and produce fertile offspring... no means of further sub-classification is valid. Therefore the barriers imposed on one's mating choices are determined solely by cultural and personal pressures and beliefs usually forced upon individuals by family and peers. the sooner we drop the crap in the garbage where it needs to be, the better.

I for one, have already done so.

In my experience inter-ratial dating is no different than normal dating except for the dumbasses who ask stupid questions take insults at things that are none of their damn business.

Frankly most of these racists make me laugh my ass off. Not only are they stupid and suffer from a persecution complex, but not one of them will ever except a challenge to some practice Krav Maga.

there is no such thing as different human races for you to have a inter-racial relationship. There is no such thing as race, there is one specie and different pigmentation does not make anything in the world a different specie.
So the proper question would be, Have you ever able to have a relationship to someone different of you ?
Those who can not are just unable to live with anything but themselves. That is the nature of prejudice. Someone that does not notice how small they are among billions and keep fighting to show that a few hundreds can be bigger than them.
Of course, ignorance is trait of those who cannt measure big numbers.

All Hail Igot for hitting the nail on the head. We are all human beings, Homo Sapient Sapient, to use the propor term, if race was a true line of demarkation between us we would be differant species and children would be:

A)Genetically impossible without some major technological aid(which would be damn difficult to provide
B)Reasult in sterile offspring (horse+donkey=mule which is sterile)
c)have major physical differances from both (Tiger+Lion=Liger, yes this has happened before.)

Are people starting to see not only the problem we have with the (to quote Cartman) "Donkey Raping Shit Eaters" but Star Treks missuse of 'race' and 'species'.

For those wondering there have been two subspecies of Homo Sapient,

No real difference in so called interracial dating. Women are women, the only forseeable problem would be international relationship, only for language barriers. Never had a relationship in either per say, but have had shorter versions of both. Always got shot down for longer lasting type relationships until I met my wife. Go figure.

I agree with you Knife but would like to add that culture can also potentially be a huge obstacle to overcome in international relationships. Learning your spouse's language does help, but it has more to do with the mindset. In other words, I don't know if I can ever truly understand my wife's thoughts since there is, to a certain extent, a gap between Korean culture and my own.
