Just earlier today, I napped with my girlfriend. She slept in my arms. I kissed her. I was happy, I was with someone I wanted to be with.

An hour ago, she dumped me. She said she was too young to worry about working things out and she wanted to have fun.

I don't know, but It kinda makes me afraid to contact my girlfriend (lost her phone number, can't remember what it's listed under, so I haven't talked to her in a few weeks. I'm gonna visit her house soon).

It might not necessarily be anything you did or didn't do. It might be something she has to work out for herself. Rebecca once gave me the "we need some time apart" speech when we were dating, but she had a lot of family problems she had to deal with. She eventually came back.

PS. Not that I'm advocating that you should wait for her to come back; every situation is different. I'm just saying that it might be something going on in her head that you have no control over, and that you shouldn't feel too bad.

Sorry to hear about that. I was once dumped (well, more like rejected) by someone who was important to me, so I know how you feel.

If you choose to wait to see if she comes back, dont force the issue on her. Give her time and space and let her figure things out. Be careful though, I choose to wait and all it did for me was prolong my suffering. Hopefully you will fare better then I did.

IP, like Vympel said, being single can kick ass. You might want to think about not thinking about chicks for a while. I broke up with my gf in December, and spent the following months enjoying bachelorhood.

Then, after a while, like Vympel said, you start wanting to be in a relationship again. But cross that bridge when you get to it.

And most importantly, don't get too out of whack, we like you the way you are.

I understand how it can be, when you're thinking of the future with someone, at the very least you're happy with them and they pull the rug out from under you. Keep in mind these rather empty words for a moment like this, if it were emant to be, if she truly cared about you she will be back. If she does not share your feelings then she won't and in the end that is for the best, beleive me. There is nothing more tryng than being in a relationship where one person cares about the other but it is not returned.

Take comfort in the fact that there will be someone that will want tio lie with you ion your arms and enjoy your company, who will not think of fun before fixing a relationship and will recognize you for the good man that you are.
