Well, if they ever make a SC2, obviously, the Xel'Naga will appear.
After all, it seems likely that they've been maniuplating everything frombehind the scenes, and what with it being made quite obvious that Duran is a Xel'Naga(or an agent of the Xel'Naga), I'm sure they have some part to play in the wars.

Starcraft !!:
1. The Xel'Naga will return of course. They've been running everything from behind the scenes. Dran will be back I knew his voice at the end was funny and I did play the Bonus Level.
2. If Kerrigan does try for Earth she gets her ass dually kicked, because 1 Squadron a of Wraiths and a battlecruiser, returned too Earth warning them. The Zerg make a base on Pluto, and the UED slowly pulls back letting the Zerg fight wellplaced rearguards. When they finally at the Moon Shipyards I asume thats where they are. All Hell breaks loose and Kerrigan gets her ass kicked.
3. In Raynor & Zeratul return too Umoga, Minister Jorgensen welcomes them in, setting up the strongest goverment in the Korhal Sector, only the Kel-Morian Combine can face them, and Mengsk's new Empire is weak.

Star Craft Two would likely bring in the Xel'Naga and bonus hybrids.
The Warcraft III engine is a likely choice, especially since they already have models for several Zerg and Terran units, you can even get a Hydralisk in one Night Elf mission. Adapting in a bigger range of space ships and space tile sets should be no real problem.
Swapping around resources should also be Childs play.
Tiberian Twilight: information from the tacitis allows GDI to do battle not only with Nod but also whatever Alien power sent Tiberium. Perhapes GDI finnaly iusses real MOPP gear in addition to the Digital Solider helment and Tiberium wont kill infantry anymore....
However they need a new engine for it to be worth while, so it’s a two year project. However West Wood should have a nice pile of money from Red Alert II.

Starcraft 2 !
C&C basically has 2 sides that are the same but with different appearences and each has 2 or 3 special units and buildings.
(this was changed in RA2)
Starcraft had 3 completely different races all with completely different units. In Warcraft 3 we had 4 races. If Blizzard carries on the tradition (WC 2 had 2 races) then we should see FIVE (!!!!!) races (but we'll probably see 4)

Even in the days of C&C1 the only identical units were minigunners. Always, tanks and such have had different attributes, not just different appearances.2000AD wrote:C&C basically has 2 sides that are the same but with different appearences and each has 2 or 3 special units and buildings.

The next Starcraft game (Starcraft: Ghost) is a Metal Gear Solid knock-off, in which, predictably, you play a Kerrigan-esque Terran Ghost, and generally sneak around being all snipery and invisible.
It will either rule all that it can see, or it will suck as hard as Renegade.
The next C&C game is C&C: Generals. Fully 3D, and looks rather pretty. Not actully being developed by Westwood.
