I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

He gunned down three fishermen--men with children--in cold blood and he served twelve years???

In Texas, of all places. I thought they executed people for this shit in Texas.

And can some one change "Triple-Murder" to "Triple Murderer" for me?

It's funny, if he was caught with 3 kilos of marijuana, he'd still be in prison.

Still, that's a bit odd that they'd hire a convicted murderer. I thought that disqualified you from, you know, everything.

Penn State does not do background checks, apparently.

Originally, he was sentenced to three life sentences for three counts of murder with malice aforethought.

And he served twelve years? What the fuck is going on here?

There is something very wrong when someone like this gets out after 12 years. He destroyed 3 lives and families as well. LIFE is the only acceptable term.

And people wonder why so many people favor 3 strikes and your out. Cause shit like this is unacceptable.

This was when the death penalty was banned; during that period there was no long-term incarceration for many murderers, and a lot of them got off nearly scot-free and promptly went out and re-offended.

You can bet no one in his class got out of line

Seriously though, how the hell could they justify letting people out like that? I know that was years ago, but even then they should have had the common sense not to let them out.

Yay, suddenly my felony conviction doesn't look like an obstacle anymore! :P

I think many will agree with me when I say common sense isn't.
