A jungle island? :D
He probably wants some monkeys around to watch/participate in t3h fun :P

Either that, or the fact that jungles tend to have more survival-related stuff that deserts. Or a typo. *waits for Coyote to give real reason*
Well, on a jungle island you've got all kinds of stuff, plus there's the romantic allure of it all. And best of all (especially from my pov) we get to walk around in skimpy and revealing hides which I am sure get too hot from time to time, requiring us to go shed them and dip in the warm tropical lagoon waters. Which of course leads to... well, this is still a public forum, so... (ahem).... 8) :D

Lets just say that when I think of Innerbrat, I always think of the phrase, "Well, Miss Professor, you seem to have discovered my favorite bone..."

Yes, partially because of your (Aly's) avatar. Also, because of your interest in Star Trek and Stargate. Plus, walks-with-stars has a nice ring to it, esp for someone who has such an expansive knowledge of two sf series w/o being a geek about it, if that makes sense. I guess Zaia was right on both counts :)

That, in turn, reminds me of something George Carlin said:

On a serious note, I am a conservative here, but in America I'd be very much in the liberal camp. Socially liberal, that is, fiscally I'd be in the more tightfisted group, because I just hate the mere notion of owing anyone any money. It's pretty strange to be called a conservative by an American, because of the drastic right-shift when moving from Europe to your side of the Atlantic.

In any case, thanks for the vote of confidence. :D

Well, in a steel trap, something just goes in and sits there. But a steel pinball machine will take an idea and knock it around vigorously, making bells and whistles and flashing lights go off while racking up a high score.

Much more active.
