Scary moment last night

Post by Jadeite »

I hate criminals. :x Last night I was chatting with my friend Kristen on AIM, who has been at her dad's in Ohio for a week. At about 2 AM she freaked out, saying that there was someone in her yard. She called the cops, they came and the guy ran, but got caught by a police dog. The police found a crowbar in his pants, but since he hadnt done anything yet, they could only hold him overnight. The whole incident lasted about 30 minutes. She was pretty freaked out by the whole deal, since he'd probably been there for a while, and had probably been watching her undress (which was just a few minutes before she saw him). If he had gotten into the house she would have been in a lot of trouble, since she was home alone. But thankfully, the police responded quickly, so the situation ended well. :)

I can't help it. I have to say that the guy must've taken Half-Life with too much enthusiasm.

Other than that, good thing the cops came pretty quickly. I was under the impression most took at least several minutes.

Something weird happened today to me. Apparently, my male parental figure was driving through chorley, the police stopped him and asked him where he was a couple of weeks ago. A couple of weeks ago, he was in devon, with my mum, and i was home alone.

The police questioned him aggressively for a while, asking questions about whether he'd been in manchester a couple of weeks ago, and another car turned up, indicating something serious was going down. Then...they just were satisfied he was just a GP and he rarely, if ever went to manchester, and let him go.

Also, money went missing from their room (which i didn't go in once while they were away), of which it's window was open. So now i'm worried, that week i stayed up till the wee hours every night, with my music on loud. Someone could've come in through the window to my parents room and i not know it... something horrible couldve happened to me, if this did happen..but hopefully my deafening metal scared them, if they were indeed in my house.

Of course, my parents now think that i've nicked money off them and took the car to manchester..which i DIDN'T DO...it's all very strange.

Heh heh heh. Yeah, I'd think that hearing Manowar's "Hail and Kill" or Blaze's "Kill and Destroy" would make a potential burglar think twice about robbing someone's house :D

Your friend got damm lucky that the cops got there as fast as they did Jadeite.

I almost feel sorry for anyone trying to brake into my place, nine dogs and a crazy cat that attacks pepole he does not like as well as the poor fool getting a samuri sword to the back of the neck from me makes braking into my place a death wish
