end times chat, and I discover that everything is an omen.

heavy rain in seatlle? an omen.
no heavy rain in texas? an omen.
clusters of earthquakes? an omen.
a quiet day with no disasters? an omen.
from what I can tell, there is absolutely nothing
in this world which is not an omen. its like what they
accuse the horoscopes of. seeing deep meaning in natural events.

Reminds me of that Calvin & Hobbes strip where Calvin saw a cloud which looked like himself and interpretated it as an OMEN..... of unusual weather.
